Clifford L. Greenberg has devoted his entire legal career to helping children and families, and his work was recognized by The Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute with the 2011 "Angels in Adoption Award." He is also a member of the prestigious American Academy of Adoption Attorneys and New York Attorneys for Adoption and Family Formation. Recently, he was asked to be on the Board of Directors of the New York State Foster and Adoptive Parents Association. He was designated a Super Lawyer for the past 5 years which is a testament to the stellar reputation he has maintained in the community of Family Law attorneys in New York City.

After graduating from George Washington University School of Law, he joined the Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Division as an Attorney for the Child, where he worked tirelessly to ensure that our city's foster children were protected and placed in loving, permanent homes. To date, he has helped thousands of families adopt the children they love.

Cliff regularly lectures at over one dozen foster care agencies, Adoptive Parent Committee conferences, city and statewide adoption conferences and several LGBT Centers, where he educates prospective foster and adoptive parents about the legal process. He is the author of six children's books on adoption. The most recent titles include stories on same-sex marriage and adoption, respectively.

Several foster care or private agencies use his children's books as guides to families who are beginning the adoption process,

Apart from being a single father to his son and daughter, adoption is the love of Cliff's life, and his efforts to help loving families puts him the forefront of adoption attorneys in the Empire State.
